Looks like we won’t get a ballroom dance studio in Saratoga–at least not the one anticipated to open at the old Buy and Save location. Seems the owner will be using the space for temporary storage. On a sad note, we honor the passing of Charlie White. Charlie and past Saratoga Citizen of the Year Marilyn White would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. Charlie and Marilyn have been fixtures in our community. He was a good guy, and we will miss him. The Saratoga Community Band played one terrific concert to a packed house. In the crowd, Jerry and Patty Cummins of Rotten Robbie fame, Connie and John Palladino and former Saratoga High teacher Dr. Hugh Roberts–one of the best teachers and nicest guys ever. Next concert?
